The Mystery Fire at the San Felipe Dump

The Mystery Fire at the San Felipe Dump I'm sure was viewed by all of San Felipe and the surrounding area as the thick black smoke worked it's way skyward Sunday afternoon, many tires were in the mix along with plastic bags and other things... Ten hours was spent trying to get the fire under control with equipment from the fire department and a D-7 Caterpillar tractor that is out at the dump all the time... Today the Mayor Hazael Sierra Castillo the Fire Chief Mickey Francisco Sepulveda and the director of public works Ing. Juvenal Rosiles Figueroa were trying to figure out what started the fire... I was told by the Mayor new Infrastructure will be put in place soon at the dump with help from Mexicali to solve some of the problems... More information at a later date...

New Paved Streets for San Felipe

Many streets will now be paved here in San Felipe we received money from the President of Mexicali, B. C. Lic. Rodolfo Valdez Gutierrez about $171,731.56 US dollars... Many San Felipe people were very happy with this news given at the meeting...
Five New Police Trucks for San Felipe

We just got 5 brand new Dodge Hemi 4 x 4 two seat Pick Up Trucks from the President of Mexicali, B. C. Lic. Rodolfo Valdez Gutierrez who presented the keys along with his wife to one female officer... We in San Felipe are so thankful for the new addition of the 5 patrol vehicle for the municipal Police department... You could see the smile on the face of our Mayor Hazael Sierra Castillo and many of the local authorities... This I'm sure will improve service for all of us in San Felipe...
